Dr. Qurrat ul Ain Atif is a dedicated General Surgery Registrar and the founder of InclusiMed, a platform focused on equity-driven sup- port for clinician-parents and international medical graduates. With a passion for surgical education, digital innovation, and inclusive leadership, she is actively shaping the future of healthcare through advocacy, innovation, and action. Currently serving at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust, Dr. Atif leads the Green Surgery Project, a pioneering initiative to re- duce the environmental impact of surgical practice. Her work aligns with the Sustainability in Surgery Strategy of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She leads a diverse, multidisciplinary team working on waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainable oper- with the goal of creating a replicable model ating room practices for green surgery across the NHS.
Dr. Ahmed Mujtaba Malik is an accomplished General Surgeon with over a decade of clinical experience, specializing in renal transplant surgery, trauma care, and vascular access procedures. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), he has performed over 500 complex surgeries, including both laparoscopic and open procedures, and is recognized for his innovation, surgical precision, and patient- centered care. As a Clinical Fellow in Renal Transplant Surgery at St George's University Hospital, Dr. Malik has completed over 200 transplants, including advanced laparoscopic donor nephrectomies and high-risk deceased donor procedures. His introduction of enhanced recovery protocols improved patient outcomes by 15%, and his vascular ac- cess procedures have maintained a 95% success rate. Previously, as a Specialty Registrar in General Surgery at Univer- sity Hospital Sussex NHS Trust, he managed a wide spectrum of emergency and elective cases, performing more than 100 surgeries annually. Earlier, he served as Chief Resident at Holy Family Hospi- tal, Rawalpindi, where he led clinical teams and academic sessions, laying the foundation for his enduring commitment to surgical education.
